How to Make a Cat Outfit

Saturday, July 5th, 2014

I wanted to make my cat a cute outfit for her to wear. She is white, black, and orange, so I figured that pink fabric would look nice.

First, I started with a yard or more of kittycat fabric. Then I measured my cat to the size needed. Next I pinned it together.

I set my sewing machine to zig-zag and started sewing the edge together to create an unfinished cat outfit.

Now it was time to sew on the ribbon-sleeves. I chose some pretty flower ribbon to sew onto the outfit.

I sewed on the other ribbon to create some cute sleeves for the outfit. Finally, the cat outfit is done!!IMG_9705 (Large)

Sewing Instructions for a Horse Pillow

Wednesday, July 2nd, 2014

How to make your horse pillow:

Start with about a yard or more of fabric of your choice. Next, take a large peice of paper and cut it to the shape wanted.
Next, fold your fabric in half, and with sewing scissors, cut the fabric any horse shape.

After that, put the right sides together. Start sewing them together, but remember to leave a hole to put the stuffing in.
After you sew the the two peices of fabric together, turn them inside out. Next, put your stuffing through the hole.

Sew the hole shut, and make sure there are no holes in the fabric.
Mane: Take a peice of ribbon, and fold it in half. Sew the ribbon together. Make sure there are no knots in the ribbon.
Sew the mane onto the neck, and your mane is finished!

Bridal:
Take three peices of ribbon, and mesure them to the size needed. (One short peice, one medium peice, and one longer peice.)
Next, sew five buttons on the longer peice of ribbon, and arange the peices to look like a bridal. Finally, your pillow is
finished!
